Mrs. Scherryl Harrison is pictured above, second from top left, green and white blouse.
As the Pike Regional Child Advocacy Center embarks on its 21st year of providing advocacy, stability and resources to the children of Barbour, Bullock, Coffee and Pike Counties, we pause and reflect on the life and memory of Scherryl J. Harrison. Scherryl meant so much to this organization. She was the driving force behind its creation. Her vision for a place that would care for, reaffirm, and fight for a child’s right to be a child is reflected in every case worked and child assisted. Her dogged persistence coupled with her zealous advocacy for children created ripples of impact that will be felt in the lives of children we serve for years to come. It is hard to overstate the value she added to this organization and the lives she touched along the way. She will be greatly missed, but our hearts delight in the time we shared with her.
